The Medical Device Regulation seminar (Summer Semester 2024) will open for registration in March 2024:
In order to introduce a medical device into the market, it is essential not only to have the technical knowledge of the production process but also the rules and regulations of the entire product life cycle. The Profile Center Medical Engineering (FAU MT) offers the opportunity to learn more about the regulatory requirements of medical devices for European and international markets with the help of specialists from academia and industry.
Please note that the seminar “Medical Device Regulation” is taught only in English.
From Scientists to Innovators for Industry (SciFi)
Blended learning programme offered by EIT Health
Young scientists wanting to transition from academia/research to an industry career path learn and apply industry-specific skills in order to facilitate the transition.
SciFi is a 3-month blended learning program offered by EIT Health and consisting of online modules (with 7 basic modules and 5 industry-specific modules), webinars, mentoring sessions and rounded off by three events (kick-off, mid program and final event).
SmashMedicine
FAU partnered with SmashMedicine
In 2020, SmashMedicine was established across Europe with the help of EIT Health. On the platform, students write and review exam questions, developing such skills as critical thinking and creativity, supported by artificial intelligence. FAU joined SmashMedicine in 2022 to extend the platform to medical engineering students and German-speaking regions.
